Native American Flute Circle
The Native American Flute Circle at First Unitarian welcomes all experience levels to gather, share music, and explore the meditative beauty of this sacred instrument. Come listen, learn, or play.
Ukulele Orchestra
The ensemble is best suited for players who already know basic ukulele skills, such as playing common chords and reading TAB notation, so those just starting out may prefer to build their skills before joining.
Instrumentalists
If you play an instrument at an advanced level and are interested in offering special music during services, we’d love to hear from you! We invite contributions that thoughtfully support the worship experience, helping to enrich our services and bring joy, reflection, and connection to the congregation.
Please connect with Pablo Willey-Bustos, Music Director via email at Music@rochesterunitarian.org.
Williams Gallery Art Committee
The Williams Gallery Art Committee has provided opportunities for our congregation and the wider community to enjoy rotating exhibits in the David Rhys Williams Gallery. While the committee is not currently active and we are not running shows at this time, we look forward to the future revitalization of this ministry. For now, we honor and lift up the work of the committee and offer our heartfelt thanks to Irene Burnet for her many years of dedication in organizing and curating numerous exhibitions that enriched our community’s experience of art.
Coffee Crew
Whether as an Early Bird arriving at 8:45 am to brew coffee, and make sure everything is set for coffee during Connection, as a Closer to help clean up and restock during the second service, or as a Tablecloth Angel who graciously volunteers to take table cloths home to be washed, every member of this team helps make Sunday mornings possible by helping to provide coffee and refreshment during Connection.
