Reproductive Justice Ministry
The Reproductive Justice Ministry at First Unitarian Church of Rochester is grounded in the belief that bodily autonomy, dignity, and access to care are essential to a just and compassionate world. Rooted in Unitarian Universalist values, we affirm that every person has the right to make informed decisions about their own body, family, and future.
Through education, advocacy, and community partnership, this ministry works to expand access to reproductive healthcare, challenge stigma, and support policies that protect and uplift marginalized communities. We recognize that reproductive justice is deeply interconnected with issues of race, gender, economic inequality, and healthcare access, and we strive to approach this work with intersectionality and care.
Whether organizing events, supporting local initiatives, or creating space for thoughtful conversation, the Reproductive Justice Ministry invites all who are passionate about equity and compassion to get involved.
