What Democracy Looks Like

AThis is What Democracy Looks Like is a community group for people who want to turn their values into action. Rooted in our Unitarian Universalist commitment to justice, equity, and compassion, this group creates space to stay informed, get organized, and show up for the issues that matter most.

Together, we explore ways to engage in civic life at every level, from local advocacy and community organizing to national movements. Whether that looks like attending rallies, supporting mutual aid efforts, contacting elected officials, or learning together, there are many ways to participate and all levels of experience are welcome.

This group is grounded in the belief that democracy is not a spectator activity. It is something we build and sustain together.
