Renovation Update #1

Exciting news from the Renovation Team!!

With the approval of our Board of Trustees, First Unitarian has hired DGA Builders, LLC, to serve as our Construction Manager for the geothermal project. On June 16th, we had a kickoff meeting with the team from DGA, where we began mapping out the next steps. The contract has been signed, and the work begins!

Preconstruction activities will include obtaining construction and drilling permits, ordering long-lead equipment, and coordinating with RG&E to install a new transformer. We won't see evidence of DGA on the property until late July or August, but we will keep you posted.

DGA has provided general contracting and construction management services to businesses and property developers in the Rochester and surrounding areas since 1978. They are a client-driven organization and strive to provide safe, ethical, hard-driving, well-managed construction". They are a regional leader in multi-unit projects and a NYTop Contractor in healthcare construction.
