On Homecoming Weekend, our community will weave a tapestry together as we commit to live in our Covenantal Community.

What do I need to bring?
Fabric and yarn can have such special meaning in our lives. Bring a strip of special fabric (1” x 24”) or strand of yarn to weave into a communal tapestry during homecoming weekend. Maybe you have fabric or yarn from a beloved family member, or from a special UU friend.

No fiber?
No problem. The weaving committee will also have extra materials available and can help with cutting fabric into strips.

How do I weave my fiber?
The loom will be waiting for your addition at the homecoming picnic on Saturday, September 12, and between Sunday’s services on September 13 and 20.

Members of the weaving committee will be available to help and will have additional supplies on hand. Let’s make art that helps weave and bind our community together.
