Every year, members and friends of First Unitarian head north for a weekend at Unirondack—a relaxed, all-ages getaway in the heart of the Adirondacks. It’s a chance to step away from the usual routine and spend time together in a different way, building connections across generations in a beautiful natural setting.

The weekend is a mix of whatever you need it to be. Some folks hike, paddle, or explore the trails. Others bring games, crafts, or books and settle into a slower pace. There’s plenty of unstructured time alongside optional group activities, shared meals, and informal gatherings that make it easy to meet new people or deepen existing friendships.

Whether you’re coming on your own, with family, or with a group, this trip has a way of creating those “this is why I’m part of this community” moments. No special skills required, just a willingness to show up, be yourself, and enjoy a weekend together.
