a Sustainable Earth)

Inspired by Gandhi's call to "be the change you wish to see in the world," our Earth-EASE Task Force supports church members as they strive to make personal life-style changes. We also help mobilize our members to work for wider social change. Individual change is important, but to avoid the worst consequences of global climate change we need to join together to alter public policy.

Empowerment is our watchword. We offer opportunities and provide resources, rather than telling people what they should do. To this end, we've included lots of inspirational and educational material in the links listed on this page. If you have suggestions about resources to add to these pages, we welcome it.

Most importantly, we'd love you join the team! There are many opportunities for involvement. You can help with long-term efforts, such as our car-pool team. Or you can support one of our short term efforts, such as our one-time applesauce canning workshop.
