| Because the ground level drops fairly steeply under the 1969 addition there are stepped retaining walls along both the north and south sides of the building. Unfortunately these are sometimes used as stairs, particularly by children. When the south courtyard was rebuilt during the elevator project this bench and railing were added to discourage foot traffic. | ![]() |
