Reproductive Rights Task Force

Our Unitarian Universalist values guide us to believe that women are moral agents, endowed with the intelligence, compassion and wisdom to make reproductive choices that are in the best interest of themselves and their families. We also affirm that teaching about healthy relationships, responsible sexuality and comprehensive sex education is a crucial aspect of raising our children. Through this task force, we focus on maintaining legal access to abortion, broadening access to emergency contraception, and securing comprehensive sexual education in public schools. In addition to lobbying and letter writing, we hope to initiate a counseling referral service.
