Rochester Pride Parade

This event celebrating the LGBT community of Rochester has been held annually since 1990. First Unitarian of Rochester has been represented by a delegation nearly every year. In 2010 members of First Unitarian joined with UUs from First Universalist, UU Church of Canandaigua, and the Brockport UU Fellowship to march behind the newly acquired GUUSTO banner designed by Melissa Boyack of First Unitarian. GUUSTO (Genesee Unitarian Universalist Societies TOgether) is a collaboration of local UU congregations to strengthen religious and administrative as well as social justice efforts.
