Hunger, Housing, and Homelessness Task Force
Our local, regional, state, federal, and international communities face tremendous problems of Hunger, Housing, and Homelessness, including inadequate food and housing for many, which results in homelessness, as well as other problems. In Rochester alone, one fourth of our children live in homes that are considered to be below the poverty level! In many other communities, the statistics are much worse. To address this we will educate ourselves and our congregation about these local and worldwide problems, take action to alleviate these problems locally and worldwide, and advocate for changes in the systems that cause these problems.
